What is HPP?

Backed by the high-pressure pioneers at BFT and BHDT of the Dr. Aichhorn Group. Delitec brings decades of proven precision and reliability into the food industry.

Instead of using heat or preservatives, HPP relies on pure water and extremely high pressure to keep products safe, fresh, and of the highest quality.

Three steps. No compromise.

Pack & load

Ideal for juices, sauces, meat, seafood — and many other foods that are sensitive to heat treatment. The packaged food is placed in a stainless-steel vessel that is then completely filled with water.

Pressurize

Using water as the transfer medium, the pressure of 6,000 bar is transferred precisely and evenly to the packaged food — using our proven high-pressure expertise. The enormous pressure eliminates pathogens and bacteria without affecting the food’s color, taste, or texture.

Enjoy freshness

Shelf life is extended by 3 to 30 times — without additives, chemicals, or heat. The process is scalable, clean, and efficient. So that high-quality produce remains amazingly fresh — and doesn’t go to waste.
